Es el aniversario hebreo de dos acontecimientos enormemente significativos en la historia judía: la entrega de los mandamientos en el Monte Sinaí y el derramamiento del Espíritu Santo sobre los discípulos de Jesús que aguardaban en el año 31 d.C. No sólo eso, sino que también fue el 27 de mayo del año 31 d.C. cuando Jesús resucitó de entre los muertos.

Pon estas cosas juntas, y puedes comenzar a entender la importancia de ese tiempo adelante, incluso sin las señales celestiales, que agregan aún más peso. ¿Qué hará Dios exactamente en ese día? Que sea el comienzo de una nueva era en Su iglesia-un levantamiento de entre los muertos-cuando los muros de separación sean derribados, y Su pueblo pueda adorar tanto en Espíritu, como en Pentecostés, como en Verdad, ¡como en el Sinaí!

En el Sinaí, Dios ordenó al pueblo que lavara sus ropas tres días antes como preparación. Tenemos una cena del Señor planeada para esa mañana, pero por supuesto, siempre debes prepararte de antemano para hacer todas las cosas bien con los que te rodean, ¡así que aprovecha esta oportunidad para hacerlo hoy! Lava tus vestiduras en la sangre de Jesús y sé limpio para que cuando nos reunamos en ese momento, nada impida que Su Espíritu sea derramado en un último derramamiento abundante para los últimos días de la historia de la tierra.

It is the Hebrew anniversary of two enormously significant events in Jewish history: the giving of the commandments at Mount Sinai, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the waiting disciples of Jesus in AD 31. Not only that, but it was also May 27 in the year AD 31 when Jesus was raised from the dead!

Put these things together, and you can begin to understand the importance of that time ahead, even without the heavenly signs, which add even more weight. What exactly will God do on that day? May it be the beginning of a new era in His church—a rising from the dead—when walls of separation are broken down, and His people can worship both in Spirit, like on Pentecost, and in Truth, as at Sinai!

At Sinai, God commanded the people to wash their robes three days before in preparation. We have a Lord's supper planned for that morning, but of course, you should always prepare in advance to make all things right with those around you, so take this opportunity to do that today! Wash your garments in the blood of Jesus and be clean so that when we gather at that time, nothing will Hinder His Spirit from being poured out in one last abundant outpouring for the final days of earth's history. 🙏🏼
